Doesn’t HIPPA & Power of Attorney prevent information from being released to other family members?
Father is 84yrs and suffering from dementia. Mother has power of attorney. My sister and mother do not get along. She has been getting information from doctor regarding my father on phone, scheduling appointments and taking him without my mother’s knowledge, and taking other non-family members to appointments. My mother confronted doctor and his comment was “he Buy Propecia Online did not believe in power of attorney and was concerned more about patient.” Any advice?
