   If you have power of attorney, you have the legal right to do anything that that person can do. Its kinda like being that person. So, yeah, are are allowed to do that.

   There are many different types of PoA’s. It all depends on what it says as to wether you can handle the bank accounts or not.

   But reagrding your question, it depends on the POA. If it’s a general POA, then you might be able to act on the holder behalf even without the approval of the holder or against the holder’s wishes. If it’s a Special POA, then it would need to be explicitly stated in the SPOA that you may act on the holder’s behalf even if in disagreement with the holder’s wishes.
